Polital events in the eastern world



In 1936 there were many political events occurring throughout the eastern world on January 20th George V of Britten dies leaving the throne to Edward VIII. In March 7th Nazi Germany violates the Treaty of Versailles, by entering the Rhineland.  In March of 1936 the Great Depression occurred nationwide and unemployment rates were really high.  Also the Hoover Dam was completed, the Hoover dam helped with the economy because it was a big projected and it employed a huge number of men. In addition Bruno Hauptman is executed in New Jersey because he was convicted of killing and kidnaping Charles Lindbergh III on April 3rd. And on July of 1936 the Spanish civil war was being fought in Spain and it lasted about 2 years.  Later on November 3rd, 1936 were the United States Presidential elections. Franklin D. Roosevelt was re-elected winning both the popular vote and the electoral vote.  Germany, Italy, and Japan formed an alliance.
